TOLEDO, Ohio –The University of Toledo women's golf program's schedule for the 2023-24 season is finalized and will be highlighted by hosting the Glass City Invitational and the Rocket Classic, Head Coach Jenny Coluccio announced on Thursday.
"We have a very dynamic schedule set for this season,"Â Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "We have a great balance with our schedule this year and are traveling all over the country and competing in a variety of events. Our goal is to create a schedule that tests our skills against the best and provides opportunities to win. Both are essential for our program to continue to rise, and for our team to continue develop into players ready for any competitive situation.Â

The Glass City Invitational field includes two schools – Michigan State and Virginia - that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Championships and four more – Florida, Kent State, Michigan, and South Florida - that qualified for last year's NCAA Regionals. Also joining the Rockets in the event are Indiana, Miami (Fla.), and Notre Dame.
"Hosting the Glass City Invitational at the Inverness Club is the cornerstone of our schedule with a strong field coming to compete at our home club," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "With the U.S. Women's Open coming to Inverness in 2027, we could see some of our participants this year playing again in 2027."
The Rocket Classic will be held two weeks after the Glass City event at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio on Oct. 9-10. Volunteer information will be available in July for both of Toledo's home events this fall. Individuals wishing to volunteer for either tournament can contact Coluccio or assistant coach Stephanie Gillette.
Toledo will open its season at the Spartans' Mary Fossum Invitational on Sept. 17-18 and conclude their fall at Dayton's Flyer Invitational (Oct. 16-17) and the Mercer Invitational (Oct. 30-31).
The Rockets will begin their spring campaign out west at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate on Feb. 13-14 in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Toledo will then visit the Sunshine State for their next two tournaments at the Florida Gators Invitational on March 2-3 in Gainesville, Fla. and Western Kentucky's Spring Break Shootout on March 18-19 in Dade City, Fla.
The Rockets will conclude their March slate by participating in Missouri State's Ozarks National Invitational for the third consecutive season. The tournament will take place on March 25-27 in Hollister, Mo.
Toledo will play its final tournament prior to the Mid-American Conference Championships at Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on April 6-7. This year's MAC Championships will be hosted by Ohio University and hosted at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.
The Rockets return seven letterwinners for the 2023-24 campaign. Junior Yedam Lee is Toledo's top returnee with a 75.8 stroke average folllowed by graduate student Amelia Lee with a 76.3 scoring mark.
UT will also welcome two newcomers, junior transfer Kyleigh Dull (Eastern Michigan/Fremont, Ohio) and freshman Mia Natividad (Yorkville, Ill.).
