Launchpad Student Section

The Launch Pad is the Official Student Section of the Toledo Rockets. Toledo Students receive FREE admission to all Rocket sporting events with their Rocket I.D. Students also have the option to purchase additional "guest" tickets at a discounted price.

Student Run

It's almost time for the annual Student Run to kick off the 2025 Toledo Football season! Toledo students will run 100 yards across the turf and into the Launchpad student section before the home opener vs. Western Kentucky! The first 500 students to register will receive a FREE hat!

Details:

Check-In: One hour prior to kickoff (Between Larimer and Parking Area 10, near the tennis courts)
Run: 30 minutes prior to kickoff
Game time: 7:00 p.m.

Launchpad Student Tailgate!

The Launchpad Student Tailgate will allow students to tailgate directly across from the Glass Bowl by Lot 8! This space will feature all of the great pregame entertainment students are used to. Organizations are encouraged to reserve a spot.

Rowdy Row

The Rowdy Row is returning to the Glass Bowl! Organizations can sign up below to bring out 50 students to a football game to be the Rowdy Row! Any organizations can also sign up for basketball games!

Curtain of Distraction

New to Savage Arena is the Curtain of Distraction. The Curtain of Distraction is a reserved section for one organization to sit in the student section to act as the distraction when opposing teams are shooting free throws. The organization would be responsible for creating the content of what is behind the curtain when pulled.

Additional Details
A central DJ or Band will be playing the area.
Music from individual tailgates must be turned off 4 hours prior to kickoff.
Lot 8 will open on gameday for students to park in.
Organizations with reserved spots can unload in Lot 8 to set up their tailgate space.
Grills are permitted but must be 3 feet from any external fencing.
Tents are permitted but stakes must be less than 6 inches deep.
Organizations are permitted to bring their own food and beverage.
Please follow all state and federal laws regarding alcohol consumption.

Toledo Students Gate: is located at the main entrance through the Sullivan Athletic Complex.

Toledo Students receive FREE admission to the following Rocket home events with their Rocket ID: Football, Men's & Women's Basketball, and Volleyball. All other sports are FREE.

Rowdy Row
The Rowdy Row is a reserved section for one organization to sit in the front row of the student section and cheer for our Rockets at football and basketball games! Each member cheering in the "Rowdy Row" will be given special gear to wear for the game!
To be assigned a date for the "Rowdy Row," you will have to commit to the following things:
The specific date your organization is assigned to.
Bringing 20-50 members depending on football or basketball!

To be assigned a date for the "Curtain of Distraction," you will have to commit to the following things:

Bringing 5-10 members
Providing your own distraction materials

Students are able to use dining dollars at the two permanent concession stands closest to the Launchpad during football gamedays! All items at these stands are eligible for purchase except alcoholic beverages.
On Football Gamedays students are encouraged to park in parking areas 19, 20, 25, and 27C during football gamedays. Students who park in Lots 19 & 20 (Located by the College of Engineering) are able to use the shuttles to get to campus for the game! Shuttles start their service 2 hours prior to kickoff and stop running 1 hour after the conclusion of the game.
On Football Gamedays Parking Areas 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 18, & 28 are closed. Please refer to the schedule below to see when you need to vacate these lots.

Vehicles must be moved by 6:00 a.m.
Areas 6,10
Vehicles must be moved by 6:00 a.m.
Area 9
Vehicles must be moved out of Area 9 by 3:00 a.m. Vehicles not moved out of Area 9 by 3:00 a.m will be towed.
Area 18 (seven hours prior to kick-off)
Vehicles must be moved out of Area 18 seven hours prior to kick-off as Area 18 shifts to disabled parking.
Area 28 (four hours prior to kick-off)
Vehicles must be moved out of Area 28 four hours prior to kick-off as Area 28 shifts to pass only parking.
