The Larimer Athletic Complex is where champions are built, both on the field and in the classroom. Larimer is the home of Rocket football and the Marcia & Roy Armes Academic Center. With the completion of its recent renovation in August of 2014, Larimer now stands as one of the premier facilities of its kind in the Mid-American Conference.
ORIGINALLY CONSTRUCTED: 1991
RENOVATION: Completed in July of 2014
RENOVATION COST: $5.5 million. Funded by private donations.
RENOVATION HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED:
• Updated locker room with players’ lounge
• Weight room expansion more than doubled original size
• Marcia & Roy Armes Academic Center
• New team rooms, offices, meeting rooms
• Two-story grand entrance
• New tunnel from Rockets’ locker room to field
