Football Media Information

Football Press Box
The press box for football is located in the Gerber Media Center in the Glass Bowl Press Tower. Enter at the west side of the stadium (behind the press box) and take the north elevator (marked "MEDIA" in yellow lettering) to the third level.

Media Services
Credentials for Rocket home games are issued to professional working media only and should be requested at least one week in advance of the game. Credentials should be arranged by contacting the athletic communications office. Spouses, dates, non-workers and children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the working media area. Seating for scouts is based on availability.  A pregame meal is served approximately one hour prior to game time.

Parking
Media parking is available at no charge in all general admission (GA) lots.

Visiting Radio
One Ethernet connection and an analog telephone line are provided for the official radio station of the visiting team by WSPD. Visiting stations who wish to have additional lines installed-at their expense-may do so by contacting the University of Toledo's Athletic Communications Office.

Sideline Passes

Still photographers and videographers are permitted to shoot from field level,
provided they stay behind the yellow-dotted restraining line. A field pass and a "Photo" vest, available from the Athletic Communications Office, are required at all times. Regular media credentials will only provide access to the field inside five minutes to play in regulation.

Television
Television cameras that are not part of a broadcast crew may shoot on the field in designated shooting areas.No live shots are allowed on the field during the game.

Post-Game Interviews
Coach Candle and requested players will be available to the media after home games in the Larimer Athletic Complex (second floor) at the north end of the stadium. Visiting coach and players will be available outside their locker room. Toledo's locker room is closed.

Toledo Athletic Department Interview Policy
All media interviews with Toledo student-athletes not conducted at practice or after a game must be arranged through the Toledo Athletic Communications Office.

Media Access to Football Practice
Media are invited to attend the first 20 minutes of practice on Tuesdays by appointment only. Call associate athletic director for communications Paul Helgren.

Football Interview Schedule and Policies
Head coach Jason Candle and players will be available at the Fetterman Training Center on Monday afternoons throughout the season (1:00 for Coach Candle, 1:15 for players). Players will be chosen by Coach Candle. Requests for other players will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be received by Paul Helgren by Noon on Sunday.

Players may also be requested for phone interviews on Monday afternoon, or after Tuesday and Wednesday practices, by phone or in person, by appointment only. These interviews are at the discretion of Coach Candle.

Coach Candle is available to the media every Monday at 9:38 a.m. (ET) during the season via the MAC teleconference. This teleconference is for working media only. Call the Toledo Athletic Communications Office for the access code.

No media interviews will be allowed for times other than those listed above except by special arrangement. Arrangements for other interviews should be made through the Athletic Communications Office at least one day in advance. Interviews at times other than the times listed above will be at the discretion of Coach Candle.


Men's & Women's Basketball Media Information
Media Services
Credentials for Rocket home games are issued to professional working media only and should be requested, at the latest, one week in advance of the game. Credentials should be arranged by contacting the athletic communications office. Spouses, dates, non-workers and children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the working media area. Complete individual and team statistics, running play-by-play, halftime stats, post-game coaches' quotes and game facts are distributed after the game. On game day, a packet containing a game program, updated statistics and game notes will be available. A meal is provided in the Media Room approximately one hour before tip-off.

Basketball Press Row/Media Room
Press row for basketball is located opposite the benches at the top of the lower seating section. The Savage Arena Media Room is located at ground level on the east side of the arena.

Parking
Media parking is provided free of charge in general admission (GA) lots as well as the East parking garage near Savage Arena. 

Visiting Radio
The University of Toledo provides one analog line, one ISDN line and one Ethernet connection, on a courtesy basis, for the official radio station of the visiting team. Visiting stations who wish to have additional lines installed-at their expense-may do so by contacting the University of Toledo's Athletic Communications Office.

Photographers
Still photographers and videographers are permitted to shoot from court level, provided they stay off the playing surface. Credentials must be requested in advance from the athletic communications office.

Interviews
A press conference with both coaches and requested players will be conducted after the game in Savage Arena. Toledo coaches and players also will be available during the week before or after practice by appointment through the Athletic Communications Office. Arrangements for interviews should be made through the Athletic Communications Office at least one day in advance. All player interview requests shall be made through the Athletic Communications Office and will be at the discretion of the head coach.
