Trace Hatfield laced a single up the middle, scoring two to give the Rockets their first lead of the afternoon.
Toledo dominated on Saturday, pounding out 19 hits and holding Northern Illinois scoreless. Senior
Sam Shutes tossed seven shutout innings to earn his eighth win of the season. It was his third start of the season in which he threw at least seven scoreless innings. Senior

Ross Adolph smacked his MAC-leading 12th home run of the season and tied his career high with four hits.
