Biography

AS A SENIOR (2018)
His 30 career home runs are tied for third all-time at UT. Tied for fourth all-time in career doubles (46). 340 career total bases are sixth-most in school history…Hit the 30th home run of his career against Ball State (5/12)...2-for-4, two runs against Youngstown State (5/8)...Hit a game-tying, two-run home run in the top of the ninth in the 6-3 win at NIU (5/4)...2-for-4 against Kent State (4/28)...Had two hits each in final two games against Eastern Michigan (4/21-22)...Walked three times against Spring Arbor (4/18)...Launched a three-run home run against Madonna at Comerica Park (4/11)...Two hits, including a home run, against Dayton (4/10)...Hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the 3-2 win over Ohio (4/7)...Had a hit in each game of the Miami series...Left the series opener against Western Michigan with an injury (3/23), did not reappear the rest of the weekend...Hit a solo homer in the 5-4 loss at Cincinnati (3/16)...scored a run in every game of the series at UC...Slugged his first home run of the season at Southeastern Louisiana (3/6)...Tied for team-best .375 batting average, six hits, and five RBIs opening weekend...4-for-5 with five RBI’s in 16-8 win over St. Louis (2/18)...2-for-3 in 4-1 win over SLU (2/17).

Academic All-MAC…Started 57 games, all in right field…Won two MAC Player of the Week awards (March 20 and April 10)…Won his first MAC POTW award after hitting .467 and driving in eight RBIs at the University of Illinois Tournament…Earned his second weekly honor after the weekend series at Bowling Green, during which he hit .462 with three home runs and eight RBIs…In the second game of a doubleheader with BGSU he was 4-for-4 with two home runs, a career-high six RBIs, and a career-best four runs scored…Tied for the team lead with seven home runs and 40 RBIs…One of four regulars to slug at least .400…Had a 21-game on-base streak that spanned from Feb. 18-March 26, second-longest by a Rocket in 2017…10 multi-RBI games, second-most on the team…Drew a season-high four walks against Richmond on Feb. 26…Was 3-for-4 against Boston College on March 7…Had a 3-for-4 day against Southern Illinois on March 17, when he also drove in five RBIs…Was 2-for-5 at Illinois on March 19 and drove in three runs…Hit a three-run home run in the final game of the season against Kent State in the MAC Tournament. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
Appeared in 51 games, starting 50 (27 in center field, 23 in left field)...Hit .200 with 22 runs scored, eight doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 walks...Led the team in home runs...Third on the team in walks...Fourth on the team in runs and doubles...Fifth on the team in RBIs...Recorded nine multi-hit games...Hit safely in 12 of the last 13 games of the season, including nine games from May 1-20...Went 2-for-5 with a home run, a run scored and four RBIs vs. Ball State (May 13)...Was 2-for-4 with a double, a pair of runs and a pair of RBIs the following day vs. Ball State...Went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI vs. Wright State (April 17)...Was 2-for-4 with a solo home run vs. Ohio State (Feb. 19)...Was 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a pair of walks and a pair of runs scored vs. Buffalo (March 25)...Homered in back-to-back games vs. Buffalo (March 27) and Ohio State (March 30)...Hit a solo home run vs. Kent State in MAC Tournament (May 26)...Went 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs vs. Dayton (April 19)...Went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk vs. Eastern Michigan (May 19).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Appeared in 57 games, starting 56 (26 in left field, 15 in center field, nine at catcher, six in right field)...Named MAC Freshman of the Year...Hit .305 with 36 runs, 17 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 39 RBI and 21 walks...In MAC play, hit .327 (37-for-113) with nine doubles, one triple, two home runs and 20 RBI...Led the team in hits, RBI, doubles, runs, slugging percentage (.502) home runs, and total bases (117)...Second on team in batting average, on base percentage  and walks...Also second in MAC in doubles and total bases...Fourth in the league in home runs...Had team-high 19 multi-hit games, including four straight (April 17-21)...Earned season-high 10-game hit streak (April 10-29)...Went 5-for-5 with one double and two runs scored in series finale at Eastern Michigan (May 16)...Hit two home runs and three RBI against Michigan (March 7)...Went 7-for-14 with three RBI in series with Northern Illinois (April 17-18)...Went 2-for-4 with one home run at Ohio State (March 24)...Hit 3-for-5 with one double and three RBI at Notre Dame (April 15)...Was one home run short of cycle at Ball State (April 26)...Swiped one bag in two straight contests against Kent State (March 21-22)...Plated three runners and scored one run against Dayton (March 18).
