TOLEDO, Ohio - Jacob Condra-Bogan will join the University of Toledo baseball program as an assistant coach and pitching coach, Head Coach
Rob Reinstetle announced on Friday.
Condra-Bogan will lead one of the top pitching staffs in the Mid-American Conference. He heads to the Glass City after four successful seasons at USC Upstate, including helping the Spartans win Big South regular-season and tournament championships, including a trip to the NCAA Regional this past season.
"I'm so excited to announce Jacob Condra-Bogan as our pitching coach," said Reinstetle. "Jacob was highly recommended to us and brings impressive pitching knowledge and background to Toledo. He is an experienced coach with a proven track record of success and development of pitchers. This will pay huge dividends with our current players and in recruiting. We cast a wide net when looking to fill this position and Jacob rose to the top of our candidates. We wanted to make the transition as seamless as possible for our players and I believe Jacob is the right person at the right time. We have a very talented group of pitchers and I'm excited to watch them flourish under Jacob."

The vision for the program, the investment in the student-athletes and the competitive mindset across the board stood out to me. Toledo is the type of environment I'm proud to contribute to in a meaningful way. I'm grateful to Coach Reinstetle for the opportunity and am looking forward to getting to work with our staff and players. Go Rockets!"
