TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team plays a road match for the first time in three weeks as the Rockets visit Northern Illinois and Western Michigan for Mid-American Conference action this weekend. UT takes on NIU on Friday, Sept. 29 in DeKalb, Ill. before battling WMU on Sunday, Oct. 1 in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The Rockets (4-4-2, 1-0-1 MAC) earned four important points during the opening week of conference competition. Toledo dominated winless Miami, 3-1, before playing MAC favorite Ball State to a 1-1 draw.
Sunday will be a homecoming game for Toledo's leading scorer
Hannah Scafaria. The Kalamazoo, Mich. native has scored four goals to lead the team. The junior forward netted goals in her last three matches entering the weekend.

Madison Perrin has recorded four shutouts on the season. She made her presence felt with a career-high 10 saves against a relentless Ball State attack on Sunday.
Northern Illinois (5-3-1, 2-0-0 MAC) is one of three two-win teams after the opening week of MAC play. The Huskies defeated Akron 2-1 and shutout Buffalo 2-0.Â
Taylor Sarver leads NIU with three goals, while Lauren Gierman has handed out a team-high four assists.
Western Michigan (6-3-0, 1-1-0 MAC) was defeated 2-0 by Buffalo but bounced back to earn a 2-0 win over Akron for their first conference win of the season.Â
WMU is led by Grace Labadie with three goals on the year.
The Rockets hold a 13-7-2 all-time mark over Northern Illinois, including a 1-0 win in the team's last meeting in 2016. Western Michigan has defeated Toledo in its last five contests and boasts a 13-8-2 ledger over the Rockets.
The women's soccer team plays their first Thursday match of the season on Oct. 5 at Central Michgan before returning to Scott Park to host Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 8.
