Freshman RS/MB Rachel Vidourek and sophomore OH Mary O'Connor each added nine kills in the match as well.

On the offensive end, four players tallied 10 or more kills, led by freshman OH Skyler Day with 15. Junior MB Akeila Lain and freshman MB Cassie Shado recorded 13 and 12 kills, respectively, and junior OH Megan Lipski added 10.

In the first set, Toledo trailed 20-15, but went on a streak of five straight points to tie the game at 20 with a kill from Frazer. The Midnight Blue & Gold lost the next three points, but cut the lead to 23-22 before falling.

The Rockets bounced back in the second set, opening up a 12-5 lead which the Bulls never overcame. The Bulls never got within four points the rest of the frame, as Toledo won 25-18.

Buffalo won another hard-fought set in the third, and Toledo tied the match up at two heading into the final set.

The two teams were tied at five points apiece in the fifth set, but the Bulls scored the next four points to open up a 9-5 lead. Toledo scored five of the next seven points to cut the Buffalo lead to one, but the Bulls closed out the Rockets on kills by Lain and Day.
