Toledo (14-9) snapped a season-high four-match losing streak with a convincing 3-0 (30-19, 30-17, 30-18) triumph over Cleveland State (11-8) in a non-conference affair tonight at Savage Hall.
Junior MB Kelsey Culver and sophomore OH Kate Bean led the Rockets with 11 kills apiece with senior OH Rachel Mohler notching a team-high .375 attack percentage to go along with eight kills and a team-high four service aces.
Toledo limited the Vikings to a -.032 team attack percentage including a -.147 hitting mark in the second game.
Sophomore libero Lora Sarich paced UT's defensive effort with a match-high 12 digs with Culver leading the way at the net with four blocks. Freshman S Emi Holsclaw collected 27 assists in the match.
Toledo returns to action this weekend with its final two home matches of the 2004 campaign. The Rockets will host Northern Illinois on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m. before meeting Akron on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 3:00 p.m.
