Box Score

CLEVELAND, OH - Toledo (7-17, 4-10 MAC) suffered a 3-0 (15-11, 15-7, 15-11) setback tonight in a non-conference matchup at Cleveland State (11-14, 0-10 MCC). The loss extended the Rockets' losing streak to a season-high five matches.

Sophomore Heidi Neumeister and junior Lindsey Kretzmann led the Rockets' offensive attack with 10 kills apiece, while sophomore Bitsy Mayhle led the defense with 12 digs.

"I'm disappointed with the loss," UT Head Coach Kent Miller said. "We played well at times and very average at times. We probably played our best volleyball at the end of the match when we were down 14-6 and cut their lead to 14-11. However, even with the loss, we were able to use a couple of different lineups tonight that should help us in our match against Western Michigan on Friday."

The Rockets will look to get back on the winning track this weekend when they return home for a pair of conference matches against Western Michigan (Friday, Nov. 10) and Northern Illinois (Saturday, Nov. 11).
