Toledo trails only Indiana State for longest streak in nation

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball program has earned its 24^th straight AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.

The AVCA honored more than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintained a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

Toledo, Bowling Green (24) and Indiana State (26) are the only three NCAA Division I schools that have won the AVCA Team Academic Award for at least 24 straight seasons.

The Rockets posted a 3.505 team GPA in the spring semester and also placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC squad last fall: Taylor Alt, Claire Eiden, Abby Erickson, Izzy Granger, Ryann Jaqua, and Macy Medors.
