HENDERSON, Nev. – Senior Barend Botha carded a team-best three-under par 69 on Tuesday to pace the Toledo men's golf team in the second round of the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate. The Rockets shot a team score of two-over par 290 and remain tied for seventh place with an even-par 576 at the par-72, 7,204-yard Reflection Bay Golf Course.

Arkansas State is leading the 22-team field at 10-under par, one stroke ahead of Little Rock and VCU. Louisiana's Burke Alford is setting the pace individually at six-under par 138.

Botha was the only Rocket to shoot under par today and registered a team-high four birdies and just one bogey in today's round.

Senior Palmer Yenrick is leading UT through two rounds and tied for 24th place with a one-under par 143 (71-72). Botha (76-69) is tied for 43rd place with senior Jamie Tofte Nielsen (69-76) at one-over par 145.

The remainder of UT's lineup includes sophomore Mads Jensen (T-64th/70-77=147) and senior NJ Botha (T-108th/81-73=154).

The Rockets will tee off in their third and final round tomorrow at 9:40 a.m. PT.
