ROCHESTER, Mich. – Junior Solomon Petrie fired a career-low five-under par 66 to lead the Toledo men's golf team to a second-place standing following Saturday's play at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate. The Rockets are in second place in the 12-team field with a 10-over par 578 at the par-71, 7,204-yard Katke Cousins Golf Course.

Petrie is tied for eighth place individually and four strokes out of the lead. He opened the second round with six straight birdies and leads the field with 10 birdies over 36 holes.

Sophomore Bence Bertenyi is tied for 14^th place at three-over par (72-73), while senior Bence Kotel is tied for 17^th place at four-over par 146 (73-73).

Butler sits in first place at three-over par. Green Bay's Mason Haupt and Notre Dame's Peyton Blanchard are atop the individual leaderboard at three-under par.

The Rockets will begin their final round tomorrow off the No. 1 tee at 9:10 a.m.
