MADISON, Wis. – Senior
Bence Kotel holds a four-shot lead midway through Monday's second round at the Badger Fall Invitational. Kotel stands at eight-under par through 11 holes after today's play was delayed multiple times due to lightning at the par-72, 7,272-yard TPC Wisconsin course.
Toledo is tied for second place in the team standings with Southern Illinois at five-under par. Southern Miss is leading the 14-team field at 10-under par. The Rockets were also tied for second place after the first round at four-under par.
Kotel shot a five-under par 67 this morning in a round that featured six birdies and just one bogey. He also birdied four of his first five holes in the second round and has 11 birdies through 29 holes.
Senior
Mads Jensen is tied for 12
th place at one-under par through 13 holes, while sophomore Bence Bertenyi is tied for 24
th place at one-over par through 10 holes.
The second round will be completed tomorrow morning beginning with a 7:45 a.m. CDT shotgun start with the third and final round to follow.
