TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team will continue Mid-American Conference play this week in search of its first conference win of the season. The Rockets will welcome MAC leader Buffalo on Thursday night, before heading to in-state rival Kent State on Sunday afternoon in Dix Stadium.

About Toledo
Toledo (1-5-3, 0-1-1 MAC) opened conference play last week with a 2-2 draw at reigning MAC Champions Bowling Green on Sept. 22.
Morgan Otteson got the first goal of the game, her fifth of the season, and
Mia Leonetti followed with the second goal of the night and second goal this season.
Madison Medalle assisted both goals, matching her season high. The Rockets lost to Northern Illinois 2-0 on Sept. 25.
Otteson leads the conference with 27 shots, 16 on goal and is tied for second with five goals. Goalkeeper
Karson Hill is also atop the conference leaders with an average of 6.14 saves per game.
About Buffalo
Buffalo (8-1-0, 2-0 MAC) is riding a six-game winning streak, all shutouts, heading to the Glass City. Buffalo is 2-0 in the MAC after picking up wins against both Ohio and Akron last week. Buffalo's Emily Kelly is the MAC's leading goalkeeper with a 0.45 goals-against-average. She has stopped 22 shots and has only allowed four goals.
About Kent State
Kent State (2-5-2, 2-0 MAC) picked up its first win of the season in a 2-0 shutout against Ohio on Sept. 22, and followed with another 2-0 shutout over Akron on Sept. 25. Freshman Kelsey Salopek scored three of the Golden Flashes' four goals last week. KSU will visit Western Michigan on Thursday evening before hosting Toledo on Sunday afternoon.
