TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo men's golf program has five student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced today. The Rockets' total of five recipients are tied for most in the MAC with Eastern Michigan and Miami and mark the fourth-straight season that four or more Toledo golfers haven been honored.

David Amm and junior
NJ Botha were honored for a second time, while graduate student
Lukas Clark joined sophomores
Barend Botha and
Jamie Tofte Nielsen as first-time honorees.

NJ Botha paced the Rockets with a 3.97 grade-point average in accounting with Amm registering a 3.79 GPA in finance. During the 2021-22 academic year, the men's golf program posted a 3.737 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.699 GPA in the spring semester.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
