TOLEDO, Ohio - The Rockets travel down I-75 to meet rival Bowling Green for a three-game interdivision series on April 7-9 at Steller Field.

Toledo (8-21, 2-4 MAC) has played .500 baseball since starting the season at 1-14. The Rockets won their last conference series 2-1 at home against reigning MAC Tournament Champion Western Michigan. UT claimed the series with a 13-inning, come from behind 9-8 victory on a walk-off single by junior
Brad Boss.Â
In their non-conference, midweek contest the Rockets were defeated 4-2 by Wright State in Dayton. Senior
Corey Tipton homered for the second straight game in defeat.Â
Junior
Dalton Bollinger leads the team with 31 hits and a .277 average. Sophomore
Riley Campbell hits .272 and has swiped a team best eight bases. Leading the team in RBIs and doubles is junior
AJ Montoya with 20 and 10, respectively.
Bowling Green (7-17, 3-3 MAC) lost nine of 10 games to start the season but has split six games to start the MAC schedule. The Falcons swept a doubleheader vs. Northern Illinois to earn the series win and run their record to 3-3.
BGSU is led by Greg Basalyga with a .310 average and three home runs. Basalyga is second on the team with 13 RBIs. Jake Wilson leads the category with 14.
The Falcons have had the upper hand in the rivalry in recent years. Bowling Green took last year's series, 2-1, and holds a 10-6 advantage over the last five calendars.Â
UT does not have a midweek game scheduled for next week and their next weekend series will be vs. Buffalo at Scott Park.
