•   Toledo looks to bounce back from Wednesday's 72-64 setback at Atlantic Coast Conference foe Syracuse when it visits Ivy League member Cornell (1-3) on Friday, Nov. 24 at 4:00 p.m. The contest can be seen on the Ivy League Network. A subscription is required to view the game.
•   Toledo opened its season with home victories over Saint Joseph's (98-87), Ohio Northern (72-62) and Oakland (87-74) before falling at Syracuse. That start has moved the Rockets into the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll with a No. 24 ranking.
•   Junior guard
Jaelan Sanford ranks third in the Mid-American Conference with a team-high 20.3 ppg, while senior guard
Tre'Shaun Fletcher is fourth with 19.8 ppg. Junior forward
Nate Navigato and sophomore center
Luke Knapke are also scoring in double digits for UT with 15.3 and 12.0 ppg, respectively.
•   Sanford and Fletcher have earned MAC West Division Player of the Week honors each of the last two weeks for the Rockets.
•   Fletcher is leading the Rockets with 9.0 rpg, 4.3 apg and 1.3 spg. He also ranks second with a 45.0 three-point FG% after burying a career-best 5-of-6 attempts vs. Syracuse.
•   Knapke leads Toledo with 9.0 rpg and is second in the MAC along with 2.3 bpg. He also is fifth in the MAC with a 93.8 FT% after going 8-of-8 at the charity stripe at Syracuse. Knapke tied career-highs in assists (4) and blocks (3) vs. the Orange and his eight free throws were a career best.
•   Toledo converted 12-of-25 three-point shots and committed just eight turnovers vs. the Orange but that couldn't overcome a 50-31 deficit on the boards.
•   Head Coach
Tod Kowalczyk is in his eighth season at UT and has orchestrated a dramatic turnaround since his arrival in 2010. He has guided the Midnight Blue and Gold to a 118-83 (.587) win-loss mark over the last six-plus years, including back-to-back 20-win campaigns in 2013-14 and 2014-15. Toledo also has registered 84 victories over the last four-plus seasons, a total that ranks second among MAC members.
•   Cornell has dropped its last two decisions, including a 98-78 defeat at UMass-Lowell last Sunday in its most recent outing. The Big Red shot 56 percent from the floor against the River Hawks, but that wasn't enough to overcome 22 turnovers.
•   Junior guard Matt Morgan leads Cornell with 22.0 ppg and earned Ivy League Player of the Week last week after posting 24.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 3.3 apg in three contests.
•   Toledo leads the all-time series against Cornell, 5-1, and has an all-time record of 18-4 against Ivy League schools.
