•   Toledo (10-9, 3-3 MAC) looks to bounce back from Saturday's 85-61 defeat at Kent State when it travels to Athens, OH on Tuesday, Jan. 24 to battle Ohio University (12-5, 4-2 MAC) at the The Convo (13,080). Tip-off time for the contest is set for 7:00 p.m. The game will be televised on BCSN and Spectrum Sports and streamed on ESPN3.
•   Toledo is tied for third place with Ball State in the MAC's West Division and trails division leaders Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois by one game. Ohio is alone in second place in the MAC's East Division, two games behind undefeated Akron.
•   The Rockets scored a season-low 61 points in their loss at Kent State. Senior forward Steve Taylor, Jr. paced Toledo with 16 points and nine rebounds.
•   Senior guard
Jonathan Williams ranks second in the MAC with a team-high 20.7 ppg and possesses a 45.3 FG%, a 35.3 3PFTG% and a team-high 81.1 FT%.
•   Taylor ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.1 ppg to go along with a MAC-best 11.8 rpg and a team-high 3.6 apg. He ranks fifth nationally with 11.8 rpg (through Jan. 21) and is second in the country with 9.4 defensive rpg. In addition, Taylor's 14 double-doubles are tied for third in the nation.
•   Sophomore guard
Jaelan Sanford is also a double-digit scorer for the Rockets with 13.3 ppg and is playing a team-high 34.7 mpg. In MAC play, Sanford is averaging 14.0 ppg and a team-high 4.0 apg.
•   As a team, Toledo ranks second in the MAC with 81.6 ppg, a 47.6 FG% and a 1.17 A/TO ratio. UT leads the MAC in league play with 17.7 apg and a 1.61 A/TO ratio.
•   The Rockets have tied a school record (set in the 1971-72 campaign) with a nation-high five overtime games this season. UT has a 2-3 win-loss mark in its OT contests with wins over Youngstown State (Nov. 15) and Evansville (Nov. 25) and losses against Middle Tennessee (Nov. 26), Green Bay (Dec. 3) and Marshall (Dec. 10).
•   Toledo's five OT games are tied for first in the nation with Indiana State and Youngstown State.
•    Ohio snapped a two-game losing streak with Saturday's 78-69 victory at Northern Illinois. The Bobcats lead the MAC in scoring defense (66.5) and FG% defense (40.5).
•   Reigning MAC Player of the Year Antonio Campbell is leading Ohio with 16.4 ppg, 8.9 rpg and 1.1 bpg but was ruled out for the season last week with a broken foot.
•   Junior guard Jaaron Simmons leads the MAC with 6.9 apg and is averaging 12.4 ppg with sophomore guard Jordan Dartis (12.6 ppg) and senior forward Kenny Kaminski (12.8 ppg) ranking third and fourth in the MAC with 43.5 and 43.2 three-point field-goal percentages, respectively.
