TOLEDO, OH – Toledo announced the signing of Anna Dunphy (Victoria, BC) to the women's swimming and diving program. Dunphy will join the Rockets at the start of the 2016-17 academic year.
 
"We are very excited to add Anna to our team," said assistant coach Alice McCall. "She will definitely add some solid depth in the backstroke, freestyle and individual medley events. We cannot wait to have the incoming class on campus in the fall, it's going to be a great season."
 
Dunphy is a two-year letter winner at the Claremont Secondary School in Victoria, BC where she raced every backstroke and freestyle event. She earned the team's Hardest-Worker and Most-Improved awards and was ranked in the top five in Alberta and the top 10 in Canada. Dunphy qualified for regionals, Alberta and British Columbia Provincials and Prospect West. She was a provincial gold, silver and bronze medalist in both British Columbia and Alberta and was a six-time selection for provincial stroke camps. Dunphy qualified for the Western Canadian Championships and Canadian Age Group National Championships with the Spartans.
