Bowling Green, OH – Toledo (4-20-1, 1-2 MAC) heads down I-75 to face archrival Bowling Green (9-16, 0-3 MAC) for a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 1 at 12:35 p.m. The Rockets will play a doubleheader on Friday and wrap up the series on Sunday, April 3 at 1:05 p.m.

Steven Calhoun (1-5, 5.58 ERA) to take the mound for the Rockets on Friday. Senior RHP
Kyle Slack (0-3, 9.42 ERA) will pitch the backend of the doubleheader, and senior LHP
Ross Achter (2-3, 3.55) should conclude the series on Sunday.

Mee is 11-27 all-time against Bowling Green. UT saw the Falcons twice last season in non-conference contests. The Rockets spilt the series 1-1, with a 13-6 win coming on April 29, 2015 at Scott Park.Â

Last time out, the Midnight Blue & Gold was edged by Ohio State, 9-8. The Rockets grabbed the lead in the top of the ninth with a senior OF
John Martillotta single, but OSU won the game on a walk-off double. Offensively, Toledo was led by sophomore INF
Dalton Bollinger, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles, one of which tied OSU in the ninth. Sophomore OF
AJ Montoya also ripped his third home run in as many games and his fifth of the season while driving in two RBI.

Bowling Green was swept in the first weekend of conference play by Eastern Michigan. BG picked up its first home win of the season on Tuesday against Division II member Findlay, 5-4. The Falcons are led by Derek Drewes, who is hitting .273 (15-for-55) with three doubles, one home run and three RBI.

Toledo will be back in action on Wednesday, April 6 at 5:30 p.m. against Youngstown State.
