Akron, OH – Toledo completed day one of the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 26 at the Stile Athletics Field House on the campus of the University of Akron.

Three Rockets hit personal bests at the championship event. Freshman
Jennifer Lichter ran a 16:51.50 in the 5000m en route to a sixth place finish and a personal best by 12 seconds. Freshman
Christina Johnson ran a PR in the 200m of 25.79 and freshman
Katie Dewey hit a PR in the weight throw with a  15.86m toss.

Liz Weiler ran the DMR with a time of 11:36.77 in a very competitive race.
