Quoting Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Andrea Grove-McDonough
"Unfortunately sports can give you the highest highs but also some real heartbreaks. We did everything we could to overcome a very untimely injury that kept Laura out for the conference championships and less than 100% for this meet… we just ran out of time. I am immensely proud of her, and all she has accomplished in her time as a Rocket. She firmly established herself as one of the best to ever race in the MAC and in a Toledo uniform. I look forward to following along with all the fast racing left in her future. There is simply not enough space in this article for me to express my gratitude for all she has brought to our program."
