• Toledo (12-9, 3-5 MAC) looks to get back to its winning ways when it concludes a three-game homestand on Tuesday, Feb. 2 vs. MAC West Division foe Western Michigan (9-12, 3-5 MAC). Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena with the contest being streamed on ESPN3.
• The Rockets enter Tuesday's contest hoping to bounce back from narrow home defeats vs. Ohio (81-79) and Buffalo (73-68). UT rallied from double-digit deficits against both the Bobcats and Bulls but could never pull ahead.
• Toledo is tied for fourth place in the MAC's West Division with Western Michigan and trails first-place Central Michigan and Northern Illinois by two games.

Tod Kowalczyk is in his sixth season at UT's helm and has orchestrated a dramatic turnaround since his arrival in 2010. He possesses a 97-87 (.527) record on the Rocket bench, including a 93-59 (.612) win-loss ledger over the last five years.
• Kowalczyk has guided Toledo to a share of the 2013-14 Mid-American Conference regular season title in addition to a piece of the 2012-13 MAC West Division title.

Nathan Boothe notched his ninth double-double of the season and third in a row with 15 points and 12 rebounds against the Bulls. Boothe was joined as the team's scoring leader by junior
Jonathan Williams and freshman
Jaelan Sanford. Toledo cut Buffalo's lead to 65-63 with 1:36 to play but couldn't come any closer.
• Boothe and Williams rank among the MAC's top scorers with Boothe setting the pace at 19.4 and Williams in third place at 17.9 ppg. Boothe also is first in the MAC with 7.2 defensive rebounds per game, third a team-high 9.1 rpg, seventh with a team-best 3.6 apg, eighth with a 51.3 FG%, and ninth with a 1.6 assist/turnover ratio.
• Boothe, who ranks second in league scoring with 21.3 ppg and is tied for second with 9.6 rpg, surpassed J.C. Harris (1989-92) as Toledo's all-time blocked shot leader against Ohio last week and now has 139 rejections.
• UT tops the MAC with 16.7 apg and a 1.46 assist/turnover ratio and is second with 78.2 ppg and a 45.8 FG%.
• Western Michigan ranks second in the MAC in scoring at 76.4 ppg in league play and is third with a 38.4 three-point field-goal percentage. The Broncos are last in FG% defense at 45.4%.
• Sophomore guard Thomas Wilder ranks second in MAC overall scoring at 18.4 ppg and leads the league in conference play at 22.1 ppg. Junior forward Kellen McCormick is the MAC's top three-point shooter at 50.6 percent with Wilder in seventh place at 42.7 3PTFG%.
