Bowling Green, OH - Toledo fell by a 3-1 (9-25, 25-22, 13-25, 15-25) margin to Bowling Green on Saturday evening. The Rockets drop to 12-10 on the season and 5-5 in the league, while BG improves to 16-7 overall and 6-4 in the MAC.

Senior OH/RSH Jelena Sunjic led the Falcons with 19 kills (395 ATK%) and three blocks, while the team recorded an impressive 12 total service aces.

The Falcons opened with a convincing first set victory thanks to a 13-3 run to start the match. BG hit an outstanding .556 in the opening frame, while Toledo had a clip of .000.

UT responded aggressively in Set 2 and managed outhit the Falcons .278-.231 in its 25-22 win.

The Rockets were unable to gain any rhythm in the third frame, posting a negative hitting percentage, while the Falcons continued to excel offensively. BG registered 12 kills in the third stanza en route to a 25-13 victory.
The Falcons hit .343 in the final frame and won the set, 25-15.

The Rockets remain on the road next weekend for a pair of West Division match-ups. UT will take on Central Michigan on Oct. 27 and Eastern Michigan on Oct. 29.
