The Midnight Blue & Gold has faced the Broncos twice in the postseason. UT lost 1-0 in the semifinals of the 2010 tournament, but avenged the loss with a 1-0 win in the 2011 finals to capture the MAC crown and qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
The Rockets traveled to Western Michigan earlier in the season, where the Broncos won a tight 1-0 contest. Toledo was even in shots with the Broncos at 10-10, but WMU's Irene Young was able to break through late in the contest for the match-winner.
The winner of the UT-WMU match will take on the winner of the No. 3 Buffalo- No. 6 Central Michigan contest on Friday, Nov. 6. The location of the match is to be determined.
