• Toledo is now 3-5 vs. nationally-ranked opponents under Head Coach Stan Joplin.

• The Rockets will play their first home game next Saturday vs. UNC-Wilmington. Only two other schools (Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State) have yet to play in front of their home fans.

• The Rockets outrebounded Kansas by a 37-35 margin and have outrebounded their last two opponents. UT has a +1.0 rebound advantage in its last five games over its opponents.

• All five of the Rockets starters grabbed four or more rebounds.

• Seniors Keonta Howell, Justin Ingram and Florentino Valencia each scored in double figures and have scored 10 or more points in six of seven games this season.

• Howell equaled his season high with two steals and extended his free-throw shooting streak to 20 dating back to last year. He is 16-of-16 this season from the charity stripe and leads the Rockets in scoring with 19.6 points per game.

• Valencia has led the Rockets in rebounding in five of seven games this season and Howell has been UT's leading scorer in three of seven contests.

• Ingram moved past Dallas Zuber (1,141 - 1943, 47-49), Jim Cox (1,142 - 1962-64, 66) and Jim Ray (1,144 - 1953-56) into 26th place on Toledo's all-time scoring list with 1,146 points. He is now two points behind Keith Wade (1987-91) and 21 points behind Chad Kamstra (1996-2000)

• Junior guard Kashif Payne registered a season-high four rebounds in addition to dishing out five assists and scoring four points in 33 minutes.

• Sophomore guard Tyrone Kent has dished out a career-high three assists in back-to-back games.

• Sophomore guard Jonathan Amos grabbed a season-high three steals in the contest while scoring five points in a season-high tying 25 minutes.
