2008-09: First Team All-MAC selection...Second different Rocket to earn that honor since 1993 (Myriam Cueva, 2005 and 2007)...Named team's Most Valuable Player and shared Leadership Award with Jenny Belsky...Led team with 27-7 singles record, going 6-2 in MAC play...Perfect 8-0 record at No. 3 singles position while also winning seven of eight matches at No. 2 singles...teamed with Martina Wodzinski for 19-5 (4-1 MAC) doubles record, including 10-4 at the No. 1 spot...Also went 6-2 in doubles with Belsky... Won her first 10 matches of the spring season, going unbeaten for nearly two months (1/17-3/12)...Won 16 of her first 18 singles matches...Teamed with Wodzinski to win Flight One doubles championship at MAC Fall Invitational...Also went 4-0 with Wodzinski at Stony Brook Fall Classic.

2007-08: Posted a 21-11 singles record, 5-3 in MAC play, mostly at No. 3 spot...Recorded a 28-4 doubles mark with Martina Wodzinski (21-2) and Ashley Frey (7-2)...Named MAC Player of the Week (March 13) for going 6-0 in the three matches over spring break...Had a five-match win streak from 2/22-3/8...Won 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 3 singles flight against rival Bowling Green...Won Doubles Flight 1 at BGSU Invite and was 3-0 at the Detroit Invite with Wodzinski...Went 3-0 at Rocket Invite...Competed in ITA Regionals, losing in the second round of doubles and first round of singles.

2006-07: Gathered 12-5 singles and 11-8 doubles record with partner Martina Wodzinski ... Named to the MAC All-Tournament team ... Was Player of the Week for the week of April 5 ... Captured the victory at Miami with her win ... Won doubles match against Eastern Michigan at MAC meet ... Compiled at 8-2 singles and 6-3 doubles record with partners Jenny Belsky during the fall ... Made it to the finals in her first two tournaments as a Rocket ... Was 2-0 at Bucknell when play was cancelled because of weather... Also finished 2-0 in the Rocket Hidden Dual.

High School: Was Top 6 nationally in the 12-18 under ... Best ITF ranking was 382 ... Finished third in the North African Championships 14 and under.

Personal: Born Maha Guirguis on June 12, 1988 ... Parents are Bahaa and Waslina Guirguis ... Has two sisters, Basma and Heba ... Born in Orange County, CA but grew up in Cairo, Egypt ... Major is pre-physical therapy and exercise science.
