2008-09: Third place finish in one and three-meter diving against Ohio (11/08/08)...Fifth place finish in one and three-meter diving against Miami (11/07/08).
High School: A 2008 graduate of Lake Central... Earned four letters in swimming... Was the sectional runner-up in the 1M dive in both her junior and senior years... Finished fourth at regionals and 18th at states during her senior year... Was a regional finalist and state qualifier during her junior year... Qualified for states in the 200 free relay during her sophomore year as well as qualifying for regionals in diving... Acted as the baseball team manager for three years and assisted the athletic trainer for one year.
Personal: Born Megan Marie Specyal in Munster, IN on Nov. 3, 1989... Daughter of David and Belinda Specyal... Has one sibling (Terry)... Served as a lifeguard and swimming and diving teacher... Majoring in physical education.
