Kristy Smith has served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Toledo since 2007. Her primary sport is women’s soccer. She also supervises graduate assistants for baseball and softball.

In 2005 Smith earned her bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in athletic training and went on in 2007 to complete her master’s degree in sports medicine from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.

Smith has membership in the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Ohio Athletic Trainers Association (OATA), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She was born in Las Vegas, NV, and grew up in Big Bear City, CA.
