Biography
Eric Cannon joined the Rocket staff in August 2007 as the marketing graduate assistant. His duties include assisting with the marketing of UT sporting events and promotions; helping manage the Rocket Shop in the Sullivan Complex; coordinating the Rockets Kid Club; and assisting with group ticket sales.
A Central Michigan graduate, Cannon received his bachelor’s degree in sports management/business administration in 2007. He played varsity baseball for three years at CMU. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports marketing at UT.
Cannon played football, baseball, basketball and track at from 1999-2002 at Tecumseh (MI) High School. He earned honors in baseball and football. Some of his hobbies are golfing, fishing and watching TV. Cannon was born in Sylvania, OH, and grew up in Tecumseh.
