C.J. Potter has been a graduate assistant in the UT Athletic Training office
since 2007. Also he is currently the director of sports medicine since 2007 for
the Marion Mayhem; a continental indoor football team. A graduate of the Ohio
State University, Potter earned his bachelor's degree in education in 2002.
Potter also served as Canton McKinley Senior High School's head athletic
trainer from 2004-2007.
Potter has a coaching background, having served as an assistant in football and
boys' basketball at McKinley Senior High School in Canton. While at McKinley,
Potter helped lead the boys' basketball team to the 2005-2006 championship
game. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Great Lakes
Athletic Trainers Association, Ohio Athletic Trainers Association and National
Academy of Sports Medicine.
Potter, a Canton, OH native, enjoys football, recreational sports and
activities, camping, American cinema and strength and conditioning.
