Corey Hojnicki assumed his post as an assistant athletic trainer for UT in 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from EasternMichiganUniversity in 2003 and completed his master’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007.
Hojnicki served as an intern athletic trainer for two years at NorthwesternUniversity from 2005 to 2007 and a graduate assistant athletic trainer for two years while earning his masters from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2005 he joined the Austin Wranglers, a team in arena football league, for one year as their certified intern athletic trainer. His first internship was for the AFL’s Grand Rapids Rampage in 2002.
Hojnicki is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainer’s Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainer’s Association.
