TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo will play its final non-conference game of the regular season when it heads west to face Washington State on Saturday, Oct. 25 (3:30 p.m. ET/The CW).
Toledo (4-3, 2-2 MAC) is coming off a 45-10 romp over Kent State at the Glass Bowl on Oct. 18. Senior quarterback
Tucker Gleason threw for 294 yards and a career-best four touchdowns to help the Toledo Rockets rally from an early 10-0 deficit.
Gleason completed 21-of-28 passes and connected on scoring passes to four different receivers. Seniors
Junior Vandeross III (eight receptions, 76 yards) and
Trayvon Rudolph (five receptions, 119 yards) led the receiving corps. Senior running back
Kenji Christian tallied a season-high 113 yards on 16 carries to lead the rushing attack.
Toledo out-gained Kent State in total yards, 552-224. The Golden Flashes scored on their first play from scrimmage, a 75-yard touchdown reception, but had trouble moving the ball against the Rocket defense the rest of the way. Senior

Washington State (3-4) is coming off a 22-20 loss at No. 18 Virginia on Saturday. The Cougars narrowly dropped a 24-21 decision at No. 4 Ole Miss the week before.
