TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Athletic Department will hold an introductory press conference for Brian Wright as Toledo's Head Women's Volleyball Coach at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 in Savage Arena.
The public is invited to attend the press conference. There will be an opportunity for attendees to meet Coach Wright following the press conference.
Free parking will be available in Lot 4 beginning at 2:30 p.m. Individuals parking in other lots on campus will need to purchase a parking permit via 
parkutoledo.edu.
Wright is the eighth head coach in program history and comes to Toledo following stops at Ohio State, TCU and Texas. Wright has spent 17 seasons as an assistant coach at the NCAA Division I level and has been on the sidelines for 13 NCAA Tournaments. He has been to 10 Sweet Sixteens, eight Elite Eights, six Final Fours and was part of the 2012 NCAA Championship team at Texas.
Wright has helped coach 36 student-athletes to All-America selections, including five AVCA All-Americans in his time at Ohio State. Additionally, Wright has seen his club teams qualify to USA Junior Nationals 14 times and won three national qualifiers. Wright has also served as a head coach and assistant coach on various USA Volleyball teams and National Team Development Programs (NTDP).
