TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's rowing team will be holding informational meetings and introduction camps in an effort to recruit current UToledo students to join the inaugural team for the 2025-26 season, Head Coach Chris Bailey-Greene announced today.
No rowing experience is necessary to join the Toledo women's rowing program.
Toledo will begin competition next fall, with a full competition schedule to follow in the spring of 2026. The Rockets will practice and compete on the Maumee River and will utilize the Philip LeBoutillier, Jr. Memorial Boathouse in International Park in downtown Toledo.
Toledo will compete in the Mid-American Conference, which added rowing as an official conference sport beginning next year. The MAC champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

Informational meetings for current UToledo students interested in joining Women's Rowing. Grogan Room, Savage Arena (Enter at Rocket Plaza on southeast corner of Savage and take stairway to third floor). All meetings begin at 5:00 p.m.
