TOLEDO, Ohio – Twelve student-athletes of the Toledo baseball program earned Academic All-MAC honors for the 2024 season, the league office announced on Thursday.

Ryan Hughes each earned the conference academic honor. A dozen Rockets were named Academic All-MAC for the first time since 2021.

Mackiewicz, Szynski and Wright each earned their third Academic All-MAC honor, while Konczak and Pike received their second. Four student-athletes in Bergman, Johnson, Konczak and Pike were also named CSC Academic All-District on June 4.

To qualify as Academic All-MAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA, a sophomore or higher academic standing and participate in at least 50% of that season's games. Pitchers must have had made a significant on-field contribution to their team's season. Each student-athlete also must be at their current academic institution for more than one year.
