TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team will head north to East Lansing, Mich. on Friday to take part in the Spartan Invite hosted by Michigan State.

The Rockets are coming off of a split squad weekend with the distance runners competing in the Raleigh Relays and the sprinters/jumpers/hurdlers taking part in the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati.

At the Raleigh Relays, freshman
Mercy Kinyanjui recorded the second-best time in school history after finishing the 5000m at 16:01.58. SeniorÂ
Madeline Vining also ran a personal best time of 16:20.16 in the 5000m, which moved her up to the No. 8 on Toledo's all-time list.
Senior
Vilde Henriksen took 14
th place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:26.25, which ranks eighth all-time at UT and was the second-best finish among runners from the Mid-American Conference in the field. In the 1500m, senior
Lou Trois finished with a time of 4:24.39, the eighth-fastest in Toledo history, though short of her personal best of 4:18.45 set in 2022. Senior
Krystal Clark posted a personal best time of 4:24.77 in the 1500m, the ninth-best all-time mark for a Rocket. Their times were also the second- and third-best time in the 1500 by any runner in the MAC this season, trailing only Eastern Michigan's Paige Marchant, who ran a 4:21.56 in Raleigh on Friday. Nora Hark notched a personal best throw of 40.89m (134-2) in the javelin.
