LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Toledo women's golf team improved by 14 strokes from the first round to second round on Tuesday in the first 36 holes of the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate being held at the par-71, 6,058-yard Wigwam Golf Course. The Rockets' improvement enabled them to move up four spots in the team standings into eighth place.
Senior
Angel Hii is tied for 18
th place and paced the Rockets today with an 11-over par 153, including a team-best three-over par 74 in her final 18 holes. She led UT with five birdies.
Junior
Yedam Lee is alone in 28
th place after carding a pair of seven-over par 78s. She was followed by senior
Macy Hanus (T-50
th/162), senior
Cheryl Hong (T-55
th/163) and freshman
Mia Natividad (T-62
nd/165).
The third and the final round of the tournament will begin tomorrow with a 10:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
