TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team wraps up the non-conference portion of its schedule this weekend with a home-and-home with Notre Dame.
Toledo heads to South Bend on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. match vs. ND before welcoming the Fighting Irish to Savage Arena on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Friday's match will be streamed live on ACC Network Xtra, while Sunday's match will be available on ESPN+ and televised locally on BCSN.

Last Time Out
Toledo played its longest match of the season on Tuesday, falling to Oakland in five sets at Savage Arena.
The Golden Grizzlies won the first set, 25-23, before the Rockets bounced back and won the next two sets by identical 25-22 scores. Oakland won the fourth set, 25-20, to force a decisive fifth set, where both teams battled until the very end. The fifth set featured 14 tie scores and five lead changes and, despite its best efforts, Toledo wound up losing, 22-20. Tuesday's fifth set was Toledo's longest since Oct. 31, 2019 when it played a 23-21 fifth set at Ball State.
Rocket Notes
- The Rockets' last meeting vs. the Fighting Irish came in 2018 in South Bend, a match that Notre Dame won in three sets. The last time these two teams met in Toledo was 2017, which ND also won in three sets.
- Few teams pummel the opposition with as many attacks as the Rockets. They rank eighth in the nation, averaging 37.89 attack attempts per set.
- Ryann Jaqua has 1,862 career digs entering play this weekend, most among active MAC players and eighth-most among all active players in Division I.
- Taylor Alt also ranks among the national leaders, sitting ninth in career kills/set at 3.98. That figure also ranks first in school history.
- Alt has recorded five double-doubles in her last six matches. She is averaging 3.56 kills/set and 2.60 digs/set during that time.

Notre Dame enters the weekend with a 4-2 record and is coming off a 2-0 weekend playing against Illinois and Oklahoma. Sydney Palazzolo is one of the most productive offensive players in the country, ranking 11
th nationally in kills/set (4.56). She has three matches with at least 20 kills this season, including a high of 25 last weekend vs. Oklahoma.
