TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team saw 12 student-athletes earn Academic All-MAC honors for the 2023 Indoor Track & Field season, the league announced on Tuesday.

Leading the way for the Rockets in the classroom for the second consecutive season is media communications major Krystal Clark with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Lou Trois, Emily Vining, and Madeline Vining also earned Academic All-MAC honors in cross country. Sophomores Mayson Bates, Amara Okpalaoka, and Jimesha Ragland are all receiving the honor for the first time in their career.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
