TOLEDO, Ohio – Freshman
Cole Cozens led the Toledo men's tennis team with a perfect 5-0 record to win the C Singles and B Doubles flights at the Zach Barden Memorial Invitational this weekend. Senior
Adam Kovac also had an undefeated weekend, winning the A Doubles flight with a 3-0 record.
As a team, the Rockets compiled a record of 14-9.

Cole Cozens and sophomore
Matias Olivero won the C Doubles flight (2-0). Cozens continued his winning streak into singles play, winning all three matches in two sets.
Galic lost his first match in singles play to an opponent from Tiffin and went on to win back-to-back matches in two sets each against opponents from Tiffin and Duquesne to finish 5-1 in the A Singles flight.
Olivero won his first match in the B Singles flight in two quick sets vs. Duquesne, before falling in his second match to Northern Kentucky's top player in two sets. Olivero battled teammate
Charlie Snow in the final match of the weekend, defeating his teammate in an intense two sets to finish 4-1 on the weekend.
A select group of Rockets will head to East Lansing, Mich. next weekend for the ITA Midwest Regional Championships. The event begins Thursday, Oct. 19 and runs through Monday, Oct. 23.
