TOLEDO, Ohio – Fans and alumni will have the opportunity to see the Toledo men's basketball team in action on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. following the annual Homecoming Parade that begins at 10:00 a.m. The Rockets will be holding an open practice in Savage Arena prior to the football team's Homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. vs. Central Michigan.
 
To attend the practice, fans should enter campus via University Hills Blvd. off Douglas Rd. and park in Lot 1 or Lot 2. Bancroft St. will not be accessible from Secor Road due to the Homecoming Parade.

Tickets for the football game can be purchased for $22.00 HERE. Fans will also be able to see the men's basketball team recognized on the field during the second quarter for winning back-to-back outright Mid-American Conference titles the past two seasons.

Toledo's 2022-23 season gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Savage Arena with an exhibition game against Hillsdale College. The Rockets will then play at Findlay University on Sunday, Oct. 30 in a second exhibition contest.
 
Toledo opens its regular season at home vs. Missouri Valley Conference foe Valparaiso on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m.

Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to six 20-win campaigns in the last nine years. Toledo captured it second-straight outright MAC title last year by posting an overall record of 26-8 with a school-record 17-3 mark in league play. In addition, Toledo earned its 11^th all-time NIT berth.
 
Toledo returns four starters from last year's squad. All-conference senior forwards Setric Millner Jr. (15.0 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and JT Shumate (15.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg) will lead the front court, while junior RayJ Dennis (12.7 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.1 apg) and sophomore Ra'Heim Moss (8.8 ppg, 5.7 rpg) are returning starters in the backcourt.
