TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf program announced its 2022-23 schedule on Friday. The Rockets will participate in 11 tournaments, including hosting the Rocket Classic at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio on Oct. 10-11.
Toledo will compete in five tournaments in the fall followed by five more in the spring prior to the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. on April 21-23.
The Rockets will open their season in September with back-to-back tournaments at the Yale Invitational on Sept. 10-11 and Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational on Sept. 17-18. After hosting the Rocket Classic, UT will travel to Birmingham, Mich. for Central Michigan's Chippewa Invitational on Oct. 17-18. Toledo will wrap up its fall at Missouri State's Ozark National Invitational in Branson, Mo. on Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
The Rockets will open their spring campaign in the Sunshine State when they participate in Bowling Green's Falcon Florida Classic on Feb. 6-7. Toledo will then make return trips to the Tchefuncta Invitational in Covington, La. on Feb. 27-28 and the Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Fla. on March 13-14.
The Rockets will receive their final tuneups for the MAC Championships at William & Mary's Kingsmill Invitational on March 27-28 and Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on April 7-8.
