About Toledo
Toledo opened its new season with a 0-1-1 showing on the road. The Rockets tied 2-2 at Dayton on Aug. 18 and fell 4-1 at Illinois on Sunday. Defender

Morgan Otteson recorded their first goals as Rockets since transferring into the program, while midfielder
Ashton Cassel scored her first goal of the season and sixth in her career. In goal,
Emma Boutorwick made a career-high 11 saves vs. Dayton, while
Karson Hill made five saves in her first collegiate start vs. Illinois. Leading the team in shots are Otteson (5), midfielder

About Purdue Fort Wayne
PFW split its first week of the new season last week, defeating Chicago State 4-1, before being shut out by Eastern Illinois 2-0. Forward Mackenzie Evans scored two goals in the season-opener win and Samantha Castaneda made eight total saves over the two games.
The Rockets and Mastodons finished their last meeting in a 0-0 tie on Aug. 19, 2021. Before that, Toledo had won four of the previous five matchups.
About Indiana State
Indiana State (0-1) dropped its first game of the season, 2-1 to SIU Edwardsville on Aug. 18. The Sycamores will host Eastern Illinois on Thursday evening before hosting the Rockets Sunday afternoon.
The Rockets have won their last three matches vs. the Sycamores, the last being by a 1-0 margin at home on Sept. 10, 2021.
