Toledo extended its unbeaten streak to six matches, tied for the fifth-longest in program history, and the longest since Aug. 19-Sept. 10, 2021. Toledo has also scored in its first seven matches to open a season for the first time since 2019.

QUOTING HEAD COACH MARK BATMAN
"Any time you get points in this conference, it's positive. Of course we wanted to win it. I thought as the second half went on, we got pretty dangerous. We survived a bit of a storm from NIU in the first half. Today was really good for some of our young kids who haven't gone through that situation, and hopefully they can build off that heading into Sunday."
