TOLEDO, Ohio – All eight members of the Toledo women's tennis team were named to the 2021-22 Academic All-MAC team, the conference office announced on Wednesday. The Rockets' eight honorees were the most of an Mid-American Conference school.

Patricia Panta and
Sloane Teske received their second Academic All-MAC distinction, while
Cassie Alcala,
Julia Kuszynski,
Christina Fuller and
Shalini Tallamraju receiving recognition for the first time. Kuszynski led the Rockets with a 4.0 grade-point average.
Toledo combined for a team GPA of 3.486 in the spring semester and had three President's List recipients and one Dean's List honoree.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
