Toledo earns ITA All-Academic Team honors for Fifth-Straight Season

All seven Rockets named ITA Scholar-Athletes as team collects 3.82 GPA

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team posted a 3.82 grade-point average in the 2024-25 academic year to earn the ITA All-Academic Team award for the fifth-consecutive season. In addition, all seven Rockets received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for their academic performance during the season.

Jone Ibanez (3.50 GPA), Audrey Moutama (3.904 GPA) and Gaby Rondon (3.656 GPA) earned their second ITA academic honors of their careers. Neha Guru (3.909 GPA), Annika Munson (3.817 GPA), Catherine Rhegness (4.00 GPA) and Jacklynka Scholten (3.959 GPA) were first-time honorees.

The Rockets posted a 3.774 GPA during the fall semester and led the athletic department with a 3.866 GPA through the spring semester.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade-point average of 3.2 or better, when factoring all letterwinners into the cumulative grade-point average for the current academic year. ITA Scholar-Athletes must have a grade-point average of 3.5 or better for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
