TOLEDO, Ohio – For the second season in a row, the Toledo softball team placed 11 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC Team, the league announced Monday. The Rockets' 11 selections were tied for second-most honorees among all MAC schools along with Kent State and Ohio.
Sophomore
Lauren Erickson and MAC Medal of Excellence recipient senior
Bri Robeson each produced a perfect 4.0 GPA. Robeson was joined on the list by
Anna Dixon,
Dayna Denner,
Riley Mohr and
Aubrey Reed, who were all honored for the second time in their Rocket careers. This is the first academic honor for Erickson,
Lexi Eckman,
Aleah Marra,
Jenna Kroll,
Madison Mikulski, and
Arika Reed.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
